Skid Row Artists Collective-Posted from Nov. 2nd

Just want to thank everyone that came out to this " historical meeting " of the Skid row Artist Collective. It was a great start and those in attendance showed how " serious " they are and what " commitment " is all about. It was the example that is needed to discard the " negative views " that so many have been lead to believe about "SKIDROW"! Sunday, we demonstrated the best of Skidrow. The pride, confidence and most of all, business attitude necessary to achieve success. I thank those in attendance for " being on time " and I will forward the photographs of the newly formed, SKIDROW ARTIST COLLECTIVE. Again, while we accomplished a lot ( musicians, artists, video, actors, poets,creative artists ), we did miss one other category ( Photography ). We do want to include this. So, next Sunday, same time and place. We will get together. I must thank Julie, owner of Weeneez, for taking the time out ( on her day off ) to provide us with space and such a pleasant atmosphere. I do thank her for the great suggestions that guided us through the meeting. Russell Brown, I thank you also for providing the venue for the upcoming December 10 event. OG
